Ok so can I ask some of you for some help? Sting was a big reason why I started to read again as an adult. In elementary school I had a great deal of difficulty reading. I don’t read much unless I have to. Well I didn’t until one day I was in a book store. I saw a display of Stings book broken music. I soon realized that the book was written by none other than Gordon Matthew Sumner himself and was about his whole life. I immediately felt the need to know everything about him. So I bout a copy. I did this knowing what a challenge this was going to be for me and I did not care. His story was and is fascinating, but the book was very difficult to read. I struggled with this a great deal. I am sad to say that I could not finish the book. I will always be grateful to Sting because as a result of this I have begun to read many other things I had not before. I have been desperately looking for this book on audio book. On day Gordon Matthew Sumner himself will record his book on tape for everyone to enjoy and know about his wonderful life story. Can you help me?
His lyrics are like writings of a great poet. The style in which he conveys a message is genius. He has thought me so much about different world issues and cultures I would not have known about otherwise. I am deeply inspired by his music, both the words and the melodies. I am amazed by the how multitalented he is. Ok so he can write and sing. I am intrigued by the fact he plays many instruments very well and continues to learn more every day. The most in intriguing is the Lute. I am also admire Sting as person who has embraced his life and the world’s cultures so wonderfully.
Thank you for everything that you are doing for the Music, Poetry and the Culture. You are the Musician and the Person of planet Earth that can`t be ignored if you want to know the Modern Culture. One of the Creators. I`m sure that I am not the one who can say that, it is a well-known fact I`ve just feel that I shoud express it anyway - thanks to social network cherrytree - I can share it there,
Just saw the video of the making of your upcoming album..If on a Winter's night...you are a genius! One thing I LOVE about your music is the challenges you place into it with various instruments..I love that you are combining, classical, jazz, pop rock and folk. I can't wait to purchase your CD and add it to my Sting collection. Good luck with the Philadelphia Orchestra in January......Wish I could go..... Besos!
I am a billionaire. Trust me. I have listened to all fragments of music literally the last 50 years. Your not Beatles but 200 Beatles. and I hope you have the best tour this year. Thanks for your music Sting. . theresa.
