Ellie Sweetheart, your real fans are back here in England. Please don't not come back... you know what I mean. For alot of people your music is the nearest thing to a home that they have. Hurry back home! Dont make me get tickets out there :) x
So when I was living in Ireland last year I heard of you but I only really got into the music when I got back to the States. I've created a monster of Ellie fans here! My autographed copy of Lights just came in the mail from Newbury Comics a day early and even though I've heard all these songs before hundreds of times it's amazing to actually have the physical copy. Soooo pumped to see you at the Chicago show! Only a few weeks!
You was great at Trafalgar Square yesterday. It was absolutely freezing but you made my day. Thanks again for the pictures and autograph. Oh and when everybody was surrounding you it was so crowded and tight that I think I might have got laid. Thanks again. :) x
Hey Ellie G! Just listening to your songs on my new phone and i just realised i really need to see you live. people say you are amazing live (which i do not doubt for one second) but you are going to be touring in the US and i will be stuck in the east midlands :/
i have seen that lights (the song) is a future hit (woo!) and now i cant get enough of it!
have a good time in the US of A, you will be going to places i wish i could.
from Katie P xxx :P
p.s - you were great at the itunes festival last year, roscoe was amazing. i wish i was there.
Forget the Brits. What does a statue prove? That a panel of "music experts" deems you good enough? Don't think you let anyone down and don't feel sorry. Your music speaks to people in an incredible way, regardless of if the listeners even understand English. The first song I heard of yours was the demo version of "I Wish I Stayed" and I was sobbing by the end because it felt so personal, and it seems like I can relate to every other song of yours! You're an incredible artist and I'm sure an even more incredible person! Tonight may not have been what you expected but it is in NO WAY a reflection of what people think of you, not at all. Keep your head up and just keep swimming; you deserve so much more! <3
This might seem like a shot in the dark and a massive long shot at that but i am and have been for the last 3years studied the tech behind music & music production, at first i was just the average student listening & learning but in the last year i have really bloomed so it be in my own direction, i have started to produce my own music for artists around college and have really found my passion. since a tiny height i have dragged my guitar around and now i am really looking to put my skills out there, i am currently in college applying for uni so i am trying to get any advice i can pick up along the way anything even the smallest bit would help, would you have any tips or any contacts i would be able to pick up more knowledge of the music industry and get the chance to push my music out there, i am not in it to make loads of money and act like a big shot i just want my music to be heard and have the chance to work with artists like yourself who have massive amounts of talent, producing music is where my passion lives loves and learns and its where i wanna be.
would there please be any chance for some advice or contacts who could give me some tips for my journey to help me through to the end of college and through uni.
your probably wondering why i contacted you well i have searched for an artist who i enjoy and also can relate to and like yourself i share the same passion for music and how i tell my artists i work with to mix their lyrics with feeling of the opposite sex because its just so fascinating how many emotions are triggered from this. so couldn't find anyone more perfect to ask.thank you for spending the time reading this hopefully you can help me and hopefully maybe someday i might be lucky enough to get the chance to produce some music for yourself
