You may have heard one of our live Morning Orchard radio shows on www.cherrytreeradio.com. If so, you know that we do them on Fridays starting at 9am PDT and they usually last about 1 1/2 hours.
The Morning Orchard is Cherrytree Radio's version of a morning show, which you know is not gonna be like any other radio show. Andrea, Tony, Scott and I run through the week's news, host special guests, play exclusive music, answer questions from the www.cherrytreerecords.com chat area and clown around a bit LIVE on-air at www.cherrytreeradio.com.
What label do you know broadcasts live from their offices? Gives stuff away on-air? Er, none. Except Cherrytree Records. Fully live. No net.
Our Morning Orchard Show has featured interviews with such noted guests as LMFAO, Cinema Bizarre and Far East Movement. Plus, on just about every show, you can expect to hear a crazy call to Tommy Sparks' answering machine, not to mention some kind of exclusive nugget.
For instance, the week before last, we broadcast a rare interview with The Robot: automated manager to the stars. And, the week prior, we debuted Tokio Hotel's new song "Humanoid." This week's show is shaping up to be just as "buh-nah-nahs" what with a call scheduled from none other than Donnie Wahlberg of the New Kids on the Block (see previous blog below), the exclusive premier of a new Tokio Hotel "Automatic" remix, a live omnichord demonstration (don't know what an omnichord is? Well, tune in and find out.) and Space Cowboy's never-before-heard rap to a flippety-flipped Robyn joint.
So set you browser's dial to www.cherrytreeradio.com on Friday at 9am PDT and join us for The Morning Orchard Show.
See you there,
