Many people agree that Music and Dance go hand and hand but which came first. I would think that music would have come first but some debate this fact. The one thing I do now is that with out music dance would not have evolved to what it is today. There is as many forms of dance as there is music.
My favorite form of music and dance is hip hop. There is nothing better in the world than a good hip hop beat and the energy it creates. Whenever I hear a song like Get Low by Flo Rida or Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas all I want to do is dance.
But you know when I am in a slower song mood, anything by Tokio Hotel, Aaliyah, or Taylor Swift works for that. But even though it is slower or not so heavy beats you can still dance to them. Anything with a drum beat can be danced to. Even if you are just tapping your foot, that can be a form of dance. Slower dance forms such as contemporary or waltz can work with many of these slower tracks.
But one thing that is for sure, is that as long as music is alive so will dance. As human beings we have this uncontrollable need to dance. Although many people only do it in private, we all dance in our own way. The next couple of blogs will be showcasing some of my fave dance tracks, hip hop tracks, rock tracks, r&b tracks, and pop tracks. I hope you enjoyed this blog and will enjoy the following blogs with my faves.
