British singer Natalia Kills celebrated the U.S. release of her debut album, "Perfectionist," last night with an intimate performance at Atlas New York in Manhattan, some 50 floors above Bryant Park. The set was part of Gotham Organization's presentation of the 4th Annual Open A.I.R: Artist In Residence Summer Concert Series to benefit The National Breast Cancer Coalition.
Natalia Kills is not your average pop tart. Influenced by everyone from Salvador Dali and Quentin Tarantino to Grace Jones and Kate Bush, this British singer-songwriter combines "dark pop" music and surreal concepts to create her own sound. Natalia is stunning, stylish and funny.

Already top 15 in America, the London-based pop-star's album Perfectionist dropped yesterday on Cherrytee/Interscope, and she seemed giddy over her growing American fan-base; one girl had Kills's signature tattooed on her and was at the show to display it proudly.
Even when describing how love often feel like a suicide, her non-programmed banter was adorably perfect. In a world of heavy-on-auto-tune, little-on-substance pop starlets, Kills is keeping it real.
