Austin, TX – December 5, 2012 - AT&T, CBS Interactive, and Stageside Productions today announced British rockers Keane are scheduled to perform the second concert in the new STAGESIDE LIVE live-streaming concert series on Thurs., Jan. 17 (9:00 PM CT/10:00 PM ET). The first concert in the series, featuring Neon Trees, streams live tonight (8:00 PM CT/9:00 PM ET) on CBS.com and AT&T U-verse®.
STAGESIDE LIVE from Austin aims to bring global music fans access to some of the industry’s biggest stars and rising talent performing live from the world-famous Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, TX. Fans can watch STAGESIDE LIVE webcasts live or on-demand on CBS.com at: http://www.cbs.com/stage-side-live. Additionally, the show is available live and on-demand through CBS properties, select CBS Audience Network partners, and select AT&T U-verse platforms.
Keane is made up of singer TomChaplin, keyboardist Tim Rice-Oxley, drummer Richard Hughes, and bassist Jesse Quin. Keane released Strangeland (Cherrytree/Interscope) in May and the album entered the U.K. charts at number one, marking their fifth consecutive number one album, a record only topped by The Beatles. Last month, Keane released a limited edition vinyl recording titled Upstairs At United – Vol. 5. This special edition, 4-track vinyl 12-inch was recorded in analogue for Nashville based label 453 Music, a division of United Record Pressing. Keane is kicking off their U.S. tour in January.
