KEANE SCORE 4TH CONSECUTIVE NO. 1 ALBUM WITH RELEASE OF NIGHT TRAIN
Keane score their 4th consecutive Number 1 in the UK album charts, with Night Train.
Night Train tops the charts and joins just five other acts, in joint second place, on a list of groups with the most number one albums this century: Coldplay, Oasis, Radiohead, R.E.M. and The Stereophonics have all had four number ones too.
KEANE’s No 1 release features eight refreshingly innovative tracks written and recorded while the band was on a 28-country arena tour in support of their album Perfect Symmetry. Night Train includes several songs that challenge the boundaries of genre via unique collaborations with Somali/Canadian rapper K’NAAN and Japanese singer Tigarah.
Since their inception in 2003, KEANE has sold 10 million copies of their three award-winning albums and seen remarkable success with their singles “Somewhere Only We Know,” “Everybody’s Changing”, “Bedshaped,” and "Spiralling" among many others. The band’s particular brand of evocative piano rock propelled by literate, heartfelt songcraft has propelled them to worldwide adoration and success.
Celebrated UK trio KEANE will embark on a sold-out UK Forest tour and club dates beginning 10th June, followed by a headline US tour this summer in July. Full dates available at http://www.keanemusic.com/keane-live.php
