"If this is the peak of it all, then I'm really happy," says Grammy nominee Robyn, Sweden's latest pop export. "And if I would start selling a lot more records this year, that would be great, too -- as long as I don't have to compromise what I do to get there."
Robyn is up for a Grammy Award in the best dance recording category for her pulsating cyber-disco hit "Dancing on My Own." The Swedish pop singer will make her Cleveland debut Monday night at House of Blues. She gave us a call last week from a tour stop in Quebec City.
What can we expect from you in concert?
It's pretty simple. It's me and my band, with two keyboard players and two drummers. We just try to make people dance. There are no big explosions or fireworks or visuals. We try to put on a good show and connect with the audience.
