Lights, which Goulding describes a "kind of folk-electronic-pop-that old genre," became a bona fide hit in the U.K., selling more than half a million copies since its release last March, and making her the best-selling debut artist of 2010. And this month it's finally getting a release in America. "I feel happy that I get to start again," she says of her upcoming U.S. onslaught, which will include a headlining tour this spring, plus shows at South by Southwest and Coachella.
