Far East Movement - Macy's APAHM performance - Chicago IL. 05-30-13

I was very excited about going to see Far East Movement during Macy's Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.   I have seen many Far East Movement shows but not like this one.  This particular show was to celebrate APAHM and included a question and answer session which I found insightful.  They were asked various questions about influences and the ups and downs on the road to where they are today.

Once the performance began, it became a storytellers session of course.  The started out with the Beastie Boys explaining how they were such an influence.  They proceeded to explain how they were signed when discussing "Girls on the Dance Floor" and explaining "the phone call" from Martin K. and how they were interning at Interscope at the time.  Die hard FM fans know some of the stories but it was interesting to hear then explain it in this setting.
