British singer Ellie Goulding has accomplished more in two years then most musicians have in an entire career. On top of winning numerous awards, the 24-year-old was asked to sing at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding reception.
Ellie Goulding, singer, saying: "I was thinking about it the other day for the first time actually in ages - just how lucky I was to have such an experience. And they really are like the most wonderful human beings and I think they deserve every happiness." Currently Goudling is touring the States to promote the U.S. version of "Lights."
"It's just kind of an updated version, it's kind of what I would do in the UK if I had the chance to release my album again because its got the songs I really love on it, the songs that I really, really - I believe in all of the songs obviously, but the ones I love performing, the ones that I'm really proud to - to give to you." Although her tour keeps her busy she still manages to run 5 miles a day. Recently a fan started a petition on Twitter in order to make her a torchbearer for the 2012 Olympics in London.
"I would love to do it, so if you guys want to vote for me then go ahead, but yeah, it's like a Twitter campaign I think were you can vote for someone you think should do it. I think that would be one of the most nerve racking things I've ever done in my life." Currently at work on her second album the singer songwriter says she feels no pressure.
"I never feel pressure, I never have. Like in the beginning my body certainly couldn't deal with it, but my mind was kind of ok. And I know they, they work together but. In the beginning it was physically tough but, I feel like I got a really thick skin now and I'm ready to take on anything," Goulding's tour ends on August 12 in San Francisco, CA.
