Favoritism occurs in all countries and all situations. Although many of us have experiences it, some do not realize that it is as wide spread as it is. Favoritism is a form of discrimination. Discrimination is not something that should be tolerated. Discrimination demeans people as well as makes people not live up to who they could be. There are some individuals in this world that expect to receive certain treatment. And there are others who never expect anything certain type of treatment. But it is the first type that generally treats the latter like s***. To many f****** times people put up with this treatment until they snap. I have been a victim of discrimination my whole life. Growing up the way I did, it made me an easy target for discrimination. And trying to be myself and to have my own opinion has created a great number of opportunities for people to discriminate against me. Most of the time it is the kiss a**** of the world who get the good treatment. And although they may get better treatment, I feel they are no more happy than those of us who get treated like s***. Many people who are treated like s*** become stronger individuals than others who have had everything given to them. Why can't we just get along? We are all human. We all have feelings. We all have dreams. We all just want to live a happy life. Why can't people grow up and stop projecting their flaws on others through discrimination?

I totally agree with this. I don't think "yes-men" live a happier or more fulfilling life than others. They delude themselves into thinking that they do to justify their actions of stepping over others to suck up to those in power.
