CHERRYTREE RECORDS SCORES THE TOP 4 SPOTS ON BILLBOARD'S DANCE/ELECTRONIC CHART WITH ALBUMS FROM LADY GAGA, ROBYN AND LA ROUX
SANTA MONICA, CA –- July 2nd, 2010 -– Cherrytree Records has hit a musical grand slam! This past week, the label scored the top four albums on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic chart, which ranks albums by sales data as compiled by Nielsen SoundScan. Lady Gaga’s triple platinum, Grammy-winning The Fame continued at #1 in its 86th week on the chart; the pop sensation’s platinum 2010 The Fame Monster EP also held the #2 slot; Robyn’s recently issued Body Talk Pt. 1 EP took the #3 position; and La Roux’s 2009 self-titled debut album shot up the chart as the week’s biggest gainer to become the clean-up hitter at #4 for Cherrytree.
