Robert Orton in Sound on Sound Magazine

Robert Orton, the mixer of Lady Gaga’s smash hit ‘Just Dance’ and the rest of her album ‘The Fame’, is featured in Sound on Sound magazine where he gives a full step by step description of what it’s like to mix a track - using ‘Just Dance’ as the example.

“I flipped,” recalls Orton. “You can never tell for sure whether something is going to be successful or not, but the second I heard it, it sounded like a huge hit, it was just amazing.”
