Misconceptions and Phobias about AIDS and HIV
Many people have misconceptions and phobias when it comes to the subject of AIDS and HIV. No you can not get it by hugging someone with AIDS. No you can't get it by being friends with someone who has AIDS. I have two friends who have AIDS and two friends that have HIV. I do not shun them or treat them any different than anyone else. And to be honest with you if they didn't tell you that they had these ailments then you would not even know. I… Continue
I read an article today that stated that there are schools her in the states trying to get rid of their sex education classes. What are they thinking? Teen Pregnancies are up and STD infections are up. If anything schools should be increasing the number of sex education classes. I believe that through educating the youth of the world and by providing the means of protection that we can lower both of these statistics and improve the number of individuals attending college or… Continue
I spot your figure amongst the mass of bodies crushing and squeezing together to get by. I start my way towards you, gently pushing and shoving against other pushing and shoving beings. I yell your name, but the sound crushes beneath the chattering of others. Suddenly my eye sight gets wrenched violently away from you and towards her approaching silhouette. I wonder where she came from. I watch as you two have a brief but intimate hug, speaking more than words ever could. It throws me off,… Continue

Instant and complete shock ran over his face. "What? Of me? Nobody's afraid of me."
"That's absolutely not true. The deputy is afraid of you. It's part of the reason he keeps coming after you. But that's a different kind of thing anyway. I'm afraid because you make me feel things I'm not sure I'm ready to feel, want things I'm not sure I'm ready to want. It would probably be easier if you rushed on me, just did the sweep-off-the-feet routine because… Continue

Watching you makes me want to weep, weep for loss, as well as pity. For myself,… Continue

I was asked what I would have on my Ipod if I were stranded on a deserted island. I would assume I would have unlimited batteries or a solar powered Ipod. So it makes me think....what albums do I think are still good after 1000 listens, sort of like when star wars or men in black come on TV, I have to watch. So I reached way back for this one and thought about everything from childhood to present and even before childhood. It's pretty much everything from nice sweet sounds to skull… Continue
