Now that I’ve pushed through my writers block, I feel able to just keep writing and writing. One of the subjects I’ll definitely keep analysing and reviewing is the Japanese pop group, AKB48, a band that carries over forty-eight girls and performs in Akihabara, Tokyo, almost every day in their own theatre. However, it’s nonsensical of me to write about them if nobody knows who they are! For those too lazy or who hate me, please see the link I’ve embedded at the bottom. For others, let me…Continue

When they finished, we only had one more act to wait for, and even between acts, there was a lot of fun. I had met a girl called Karine who was next to me, and we fangirled hard over what we had seen, and also pleaded the technicians for a water bottle to pass around, and felt hard as nails when they complied (why, exactly, I can’t figure out). There was also a girl on the other side of me who practically wanted Skyblu’s babies, and she was fun to gossip too, as well. Shout out to DJ Air who…Continue

I honestly can’t remember what time the concert started, because when you’re in such an environment, time whizzes by and you honestly don’t care what time it is (if anything, having it stop or loop around would be great, Doctor Who style if you please), but Martun started off by thanking the audience and the artists, and other labels Island Records and Universal Music for helping out. Then, he announced Ellie Goulding would play us a song! She came and sat right in front of me with guitar,…Continue

Well, first off, I should post about myself. My name's Alice Knight, I'm a Rec'cer from the north of England currently living in the south, and if I had my way, I would probably try to kidnap you all.
I'm an eighteen year old student, and at the time of writing it's the summer holidays following my AS'. I'm an English student primarily, but also take Politics, History and Drama. My dream is to be a journalist and/or presenter, and not a day goes by that I don't write in some…Continue

The most emotional performance may have been her last acoustic song when she dedicated her chart-topping and pitch-perfect Elton John cover "Your Song" to the late Amy Winehouse. "She was very special and an inspiration to me," Goulding told the crowd. A truly touching moment.
