ABOUT ME

I'm Angel, a Mexican-American performer living in Copenhagen, Denmark. I love all that involves creativity and music. When I'm not in the studio, I'm doing theater or musicals, another passion of mine. Otherwise I'm songwriting, reading or out running.

It's very tricky to know in which direction to go once you have your material in your hands but no manager, agent or contact to turn to. But those contacts are essential, so it becomes imperative to network, research and find out where you belong as an artist.

Defining Angel

Earlier this summer I released my 1st video in Danish "Sommer i KBH". I learned a lot from that process and I was in general pleased with the result. However I felt the song and the video was going in a different direction style-wise than I had initially planned. Thanks! i understand that Europe does not have enough snow removal machinery for ur situation there, so i hope the hardship is not too great.

Hopefully the Web Radio i'll start creating this coming January will prove itself a good venue in 2011 for new and established artists. Gonna try!!!

THANKS! everything's cool. Groovy video! Your track "You Do" was in # 3 last Wednesday, 11 Aug., when i did a lineup-shakedown featuring the electro-blues cover by George Clinton (currently Track 17). As you can see (below) the potential audience was unusually large, about 60, partly because Far East Movement was in the chat-box a little earlier.

The Playlist is currently featuring Colette Carr because she has a strong following of youngsters and it's "back-to-school" time for many. Hopefully that will make it a little more fun for them ;)

Playlist "ratings" sank to their lowest in weeks cuz i put C.U.'s "Undo It" into Track 1. Carrie was strongly dominating Yahoo's "trending" Top 10 much of yesterday, but that didn't mean much to our listeners. And that was AFTER we got clobbered by putting Puppetz "Dance Dance" into Track 1 - peeps were not liking the foreign language lyrics AT ALL. Fact.

I change the track positions fairly often, then take the Playlist for a "test drive" to make sure the tracks all work together, at least in the Top Window (first 6 tracks).

At least i got an ear for good music. I can't play or sing a note! Oh well.

My Twitter followers are music fans and have offered lots of tracks to sample right there in the tweets. They are a high-octane, talkative, fun-loving bunch, so you might want to consider following me there @uskipper1
