Your Pop Alternative Source
The Exchange was formed in early 2011, made up of members Justin Rockstar and Gabrielle. Both members are accomplished Singer/Songwriter/Dancer/Performance artists with the ability to attack each and every genre of music. With a wide range of experience, they are able to write and perform music from Pop, Rock, R&B, Hip Hop, Soul, Electro-Hop, and Club to name a few. The Exchange takes pride in bringing their recorded music to life on stage with the same amount of energy, efficiency, and vocal prowess. When asked what they are trying to accomplish with their music they say, “We just want to bring back the lost art of the live performance. We are here to prove that good music can be made and perfected in any genre.” What separates The Exchange from other Pop bands is their live show. Referred to as "Pop's Worst Nightmare", The Exchange is able to reproduce their recorded songs live with a full band/DJ unlike most Pop groups and hold nothing back on stage. These chameleons will keep you coming back for more again and again.
Since The Exchange was formed just one year ago, they have accomplished quite a lot. Last Summer, The Exchange had their song "End of The World" played on WIRED 96.5 in Philadelphia and opened up for Tinie Tempah at Harrah's Casino for WIRED 96.5's Breakout Artist show. On June 23rd, 2012 The Exchange made their television debut, performing their new single "Club On Lock," on WPHL17's show Dancin' On Air. They have teamed up with Fresh Fuzion, Travoy Entertainment, and Grammy Nominated producer Joe Vulpis of www.apmusicentertainment.com
One of The Exchange’s biggest accomplishments thus far was making it on the final nomination ballot for the 2011 Grammy Awards category Best Pop Duo/Group Performance!
