I’m Jimmy Rocket, a singer and songwriter living in Durango, MX. I use the feelings from my heart to bring my words to all kinds of people in all kinds of places. I believe your voice is like a muscle, the more you work it, the stronger it gets. I grew up with the records of Michael Jackson, Madonna, U2, Elton John, Queen, Michael Bolton and and most recently Lady Gaga and Katy Perry

I kept singing to the tune of others, until I was sixteen, when I decided I wanted to sing my own. I wrote my first song, and I've been at it ever since!

That's when I realized: music was everything. I became obsessed with writing and composing songs and melodies.

I drifted from genre to genre, consistently toying with new styles and new ways of singing. I tried everything from metal, to Bon-Iver-Inspired acoustics, and eventually to the electropop you're hearing today

I think the music it's much powerful than a war because a single song can change everything. the music can join people against diseases and disasters

and my only wish is do of the world a better place
